The water diversion shaft of Songyang Pumped Storage Power Station is 537 meters deep. Together with the water diversion and pressure regulating shaft directly above, it forms a shaft with a total height of 637 meters. It is the deepest shaft in domestic water conservancy and hydropower projects.
The Weihua ultra-high-lift gantry crane used in this project has become the world's first set of equipment with a lifting height of 658 meters. It provides an efficient and safe solution for engineering construction and can complete a series of ultra-high-lift safe lifting operations in the entire process of shaft construction and excavation.
