Zhejiang Tiantai Pumped Storage Power Station is equipped with four reversible hydroelectric generator sets with a single unit capacity of 425 MW, with a rated power generation head of 724 meters, and a total water delivery system length of 3652.9 meters. It is currently the pumped storage power station with the highest water head, the largest single unit capacity, the deepest burial depth, and the longest shaft system in China.
The rotor hoisted this time is one of the core components of the pumped storage power station generator set, with an overall lifting weight of 516 tons. In view of the safe, stable and precise operation requirements during the rotor hoisting process and the complex and special working conditions during the installation process, Weihua's two 300-ton new Chinese-style bridge cranes adopted a parallel lifting operation plan.
During the hoisting process, Weihua's self-developed modular rotor special turning spreader, combined with the unique clasp translation tooling, and integrated dual-machine linkage mechanism, cart deviation and other leading technologies, demonstrated extremely high accuracy and stability, ensuring that the rotor was hoisted safely and smoothly into place.
The smooth progress of this hoisting task further confirmed Weihua’s technical strength and quality reliability in the field of lifting equipment handling.
